The Challenge

Problems We Are Solving

For decades, congregations across Nigeria have managed member records and transfers manually — leading to avoidable delays, lost documents, and communication breakdowns between congregations.

📄
Manual Transfer Letters
Transfer requests are handwritten or typed individually, with no standardised process. Letters are easily misplaced, delayed in transit, or never delivered to the receiving congregation.
📂
Scattered Member Records
Member data is stored in physical ledgers, spreadsheets, or the secretary's personal files — making it nearly impossible to retrieve accurate records when a member relocates or disputes arise.
🔇
Poor Inter-Congregation Communication
When a member moves, the receiving congregation often has no prior notice. Members arrive as strangers with no record, leaving elders unable to verify their standing or history.
Unnecessary Delays
Without a structured digital workflow, transfer approvals can take weeks or months — spiritually isolating members who have relocated and cannot fully participate in their new congregation.
👁
No National Visibility
National church leaders have no reliable way to view the total number of members, track growth, or identify inactive congregations without physically visiting or calling each congregation.
🔐
No Secure Access Control
Sensitive member data — addresses, phone numbers, family details — is often accessible to anyone within the congregation without any role-based controls or accountability trail.

System Overview

A two-tier digital platform — a national Super Admin portal and congregation-level dashboards — working together to bring structure, speed, and security to church record management.

🔄
Transfer Management
Congregation admins submit digital transfer requests that flow through for approval, then notify the receiving congregation automatically — replacing paper letters entirely.
👥
Member Records
Every member's full profile — personal details, baptism history, contact, occupation, and transfer history — is stored securely and accessible only to authorised admins.
🏛
Congregation Registry
All congregations are registered nationally with unique codes. Each has its own secure dashboard, sub-admin account, and complete independence from other congregation' data.

Vision & Mission

🔭
Vision
A Connected, Thriving Church Nationwide
To see every congregation of the Church of Christ across Nigeria — from Lagos to Maiduguri, Calabar to Sokoto — digitally connected, with seamless access to accurate member records and frictionless transfer processes, so that no member falls through the cracks when they relocate.

We envision a future where a member can move to any city in Nigeria and be welcomed, verified, and integrated into a new congregation within days — not months.
🎯
Mission
Technology in Service of the Body of Christ
To build and maintain a secure, easy-to-use digital platform that respects the autonomy of each local congregation while enabling national coordination — simplifying member registration, modernising transfer workflows, and giving church leadership the data visibility they need to serve better.

We exist to reduce administrative burden on secretaries and ministers, and to ensure that every member's spiritual journey is accurately documented across their lifetime.

Key Features

Built with simplicity and security in mind — every feature exists to solve a real, observed problem in church administration.

🔐
Role-Based Access Control
Super Admin manages the national level. Congregation sub-admins access only their own data. No cross-congregation visibility without explicit approval. Every congregation's data is autonomous.
📤
Digital Transfer Requests
Submit, track, approve, and complete transfers entirely online. Full audit trail from request to arrival confirmation, with timeline progress visible at every step.
📥
Incoming Transfer Acceptance
Receiving congregations are notified when a transfer is approved and can formally accept the member's arrival — completing the digital handoff seamlessly.
📋
Complete Member Profiles
Full member records including personal details, baptism year, occupation, address, marital status, and complete transfer history — all in one place.
🏛
Congregation Registry
Centralised database of all registered congregations with unique codes, contact details, minister information, and real-time membership counts.
📊
Reports & Analytics
Generate membership summaries, transfer activity reports, congregation growth data, and inactive member reports — filterable by state and date range.
🔔
Real-Time Notifications
Both admins receive instant alerts for pending transfers, approvals, new registrations, and account activity — keeping everyone informed without manual follow-up.
📱
Mobile Responsive
The entire platform — dashboards, forms, and modals — works seamlessly on phones and tablets, critical for ministers and secretaries in the field.
Data Export
Export member lists and transfer records to PDF or spreadsheet formats for offline use, official correspondence, or archive purposes.
Correspondence Management NEW
Send and receive formal digital letters between congregations — including programme invitations, event announcements, special convocation notices, and official correspondence from congregations(Disfellowship letter). Every letter is logged, dated, and traceable, with the ability to respond directly within the platform. No more informal WhatsApp messages for official church communication.
🔍
Member Legitimacy Check NEW
When a member claims to belong to a particular congregation, the receiving congregation admin can instantly verify that claim on the platform — searching by name, member ID, or baptism year. This protects congregations from false claims, helps elders / church leaders make informed decisions about fellowship, and ensures every member presenting themselves is truly who they say they are. No more guesswork or long-distance phone calls to confirm a member's standing.

How a Transfer Works

The entire transfer process is digitised — from the moment a member requests a move to the moment they are welcomed into their new congregation.

1
Request Submitted
The congregation admin logs into their dashboard and submits a digital transfer request, selecting the member, destination congregation, and reason.
2
Congregation Admin Notified
The congregation admin receives an instant notification and reviews the request. The receiving congregation's dashboard is updated and their admin is notified that an incoming member has been approved.
3
Arrival Confirmed
When the member physically arrives, the receiving admin clicks "Accept Arrival" — completing the transfer and updating records across both congregations.
4
Super Admin Reviews
The national Super Admin receives instant notifications and reviews the request for inventory purposes — to monitor national movement and checkmate any anomalies.

Bro. Onyeacholem Ifeanyi Joshua
Is a Senior Software Engineer with (10+yrs expr) & Member, currently worshipping in Church of Christ @ 2, Upper Odozi Lane, Agbor, Delta State.
Member since 1997 Worshipped with 25+ Congregations Gospel Teacher & Worship Singer Agbor, Delta State

I have been a member of the Church of Christ since 1997. By the grace of God, I have had the privilege of worshipping with over 25 congregations across Nigeria — from the south-west to the north, east to west — giving me a deep, firsthand understanding of how our congregations operate, their strengths, and the administrative gaps that quietly create problems for members and leaders alike.

After years of observing the same challenges repeat themselves — misplaced transfer letters, members arriving at new congregations with no record, secretaries managing hundreds of names in paper ledgers — I made the decision to build a solution. This system is my contribution to the Body of Christ in Nigeria: a tool built not for profit, but out of love for the church and a desire to see every member properly cared for, wherever they go.

The platform is fully built. I welcome feedback, collaboration, supports, and partnership from brethren, ministers, congregation secretaries, and church leaders — not only across Nigeria, but from every member of the Church of Christ in the diaspora, wherever you may be in the world. Whether you are in the United Kingdom, United States, Canada, Europe, Australia, or anywhere else God has planted you, your input, support, and prayers for this work are deeply valued and appreciated.

Together, as one body, we can ensure that no member of the Church of Christ in Nigeria — whether relocating within the country or returning home from the diaspora — ever walks into a new congregation as a stranger again.

I also acknowledge the many unnamed brethren who offered words of encouragement along the way. Your faith in this project kept the work going during the difficult seasons of development.
A Prayer of Gratitude May the Lord God Almighty — who sees every act of service done in His name — reward each one of you abundantly, both in this life and in the life to come. May your homes be filled with His peace, your families shielded by His grace, and your spiritual walk enriched beyond measure. As you have sown into this work for the benefit of His church, may He open unto you the windows of heaven and pour out blessings you shall not have room enough to receive. In the precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
